Created in collaboration with Lionsgate, the John Wick pinball machine immerses players in the thrilling and action-packed world of the billion-dollar John Wick franchise. Featuring film-inspired mechanical elements, artwork, and Stern’s innovative dynamic AI combat system, these pinball games come in Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE) models. The John Wick franchise is produced by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, along with director Chad Stahelski through his 87Eleven Entertainment production company.

In these games, players take on the role of the world’s greatest assassin, battling to escape his past. As John Wick, players engage in high-speed car chases and drifting on a playfield designed with iconic locations from the franchise, such as the New York Continental Hotel and the Red Circle Club, all against a dramatically lit New York City skyline. The game includes opening John Wick’s weapons crate to reveal a hidden shot target path for collecting weapons. Players must carefully use the sculpted Blood Oath Marker to survive encounters with assassins, complete jobs for the High Table’s Factions, and tackle John Wick’s “Special Assignment.”

The stakes are higher with Stern’s dynamic AI combat system, which brings the films’ intense action to life. This innovative system uses a basic video game AI to control enemy lights on the playfield, making it distinct from traditional pinball machines where lights relied on player actions or random triggers. The responsive enemy icons dynamically react to player behavior, illuminating tactically across the playfield to challenge players with engaging and strategic gameplay.
